Just a to tell everyone we are fine. Mowed the lawn on Monday , washed moms car, and went to Target last night, after piano lesson and cub scouts for mom. Looking forward to seeing the family this weekend.

Megan's Recipe

Over the years Janet has cooked 8 different meals. If you divide 37 married years by 8 that is alot of times I have seen my least favorite Tator Tote Casserole. Well all should know she is now fixing a new dish called " Your on Your Own Glen" The recipe is rather long and changes quite often. It actually seems to be her favorite. For you younger dads out there praise your wifes cooking and maybe later in life it will pay off. Bring them flowers, and like Dans dad told me ( he is very bright) Yes Honey and I love you !!! ....is all you have to say. I will be trying the recipe Megan.

New Boat

Had a wonderful Saturday. Bought a new boat for the family in Arizona. Seems pretty clear to me that we ( Janet and I ) won't be seeing much of it. Hope it sees lots of use and hope everyone in the family enjoys it. It is very long and very fast compared to the Regal. Our annual Lake Havasu trip is coming up and should be a lot of fun. The only negative is that the temp has been 115 F so things can get rather sticky once in awhile. Please be on your best behavior. It is easy to lose it in that kind of heat. The boat has a wonderful swim step which will be good for all the grandchildren and no propeller what a high tech world we live in.

Both Janet and I have seen Megan's blog and what a great idea. Its really great because you don't have to stop what you are doing and answer the phone. A great way for families to comunicate with each other.
